My first horse, a 19 month old Haflinger Gelding, was gifted to me by my parents at age 11. It was here our journey unfolded...

He has taught me a lot about life and was comforting me through my childhood trauma back then. Without really knowing it, he saved my life.

He took me for endless trail rides and washed away the tears to bring a smile back on my face.

He helped me to become a confident and strong person teaching so many skills.

Later on at the age of 18 I began my life as an adult becoming a registered nurse in Cologne working my way up to become a case manager with a passion in the mental health sector. I then travelled the world and landed in Australia at the age of 30 and started a new life here in Queensland, got married to a local boy and have 2 gorgeous children.

I worked for some years in the medical field but my passion for mental health grew and I started working as a mental health support worker , accomplished a certificate IV in mental health and completed a first aid mental health course.

Working with various clients I discovered that I wanted to combine my experience and love of horses to help humans as once my horse did when I needed it most.

I took some clients out to spend some time with my horses and witnessed the most beautiful connections and healing abilities as the horses brought my clients back into the present where they left their worries behind and the anxiety eased thinking about the future.

For further education I accomplished a certificate in Equine assisted leaning where I also learned much more as horses can help in so many ways to improve cognitive skills and social emotional skills.

My name is Anne-Lena and I grew up in Germany. I was as little as 4 years old when my passion for horses began.
